About Me
Why Choose Tutormesquared?
I understand that every student is unique and has their own way of learning. That's why I offer personalized, face-to-face and online tutoring services for maths students up to GCSE level. I have an adaptable approach to learning and I am as comfortable extending and stretching the creative imaginations of talented young mathematicians as I am nurturing and supporting the development of those who are less confident mathematicians.
With 10 years experience, teaching Maths at secondary level, I have plenty of resources and activities to suit all levels and styles of learning. I have experience supporting school refusers and young people with ASD and anxiety and can work with you, with sensitivity, while still ensuring that you continue to develop and learn as a mathematician.
Whatever your starting point, I will work with you, to ensure that you meet your own personal goals.
Sessions offered
Online Tutoring
Online tutoring is suitable for all learners. The learner will need to have access to the internet and a web cam.

Sessions will last for an hour.
I am able to break this into multiple short sessions for learners who require shorter bursts of learning. This can be discussed during your introductory session.
​
The first session will be free and will enable us to establish your current level of learning as well as your goals for the tutoring sessions. It will also be an opportunity for us to meet and for you to decide if I am the right tutor for you.
​
Online tutoring is £37.50 per session, to include preparation, feedback and one hour tutoring time.

Face to Face Tutoring
Face to Face tutoring is offered within a 30 minute commute of Braunton.
​
Sessions can be held in your own home or at an agreed location. Libraries and quiet cafes are popular choices.
​
For some learners meeting in an outdoor location is the best option for them.
​
Please get in touch to discuss your needs. I will do my best to meet your needs and work with you where you feel most comfortable.

Sessions will last for one hour and will be planned and resourced, for you, according to your individual learning style and goals.
​
Face to Face tutoring is £45 per session, to include preparation, feedback and one hour tutoring time.

Adult learners
Adult Learners are very welcome to access online or face to face tutoring.
Adult learners may be taking GCSE resits or looking to gain a level 2 mathematics qualification to further their career or education opportunities.
